How can I shape and apply an everyday material into a precious object that makes you wonder? An object to explore and to keep discovering new characteristics. This was the starting point when I found a bunch of broken and dirty glasspanels.

Take inventory, clean, measure, cut into a pattern and experiment with the oven. Glass is such a delicate material. It breaks easily but it also lends itself for a variation of edits. It’s a process where I embrace the character and behaviour of glass, seducing me to explore it even more and more. Giving it the respect, attention and value it deserves rather than simply discard it for recycling.
